A Photo A Day... Keeps Boredom Away

I have decided that I will try and take A Photo A Day over an unknown period of time.  This is not for any specific reason at all, it is really just to keep myself motivated, start picking up on all the 'little things' and mainly because I love photography.  And this is a great reason to take photos!

P.S. the photo I will take per day will turn up in the side bar under "A Photo A Day" rather than in the LITTLE LOWERCASE blogroll.

Love Mae started in 2008 selling beautiful fabric wall decals on etsy.com.  Now Love Mae have a ginormous rage of wall decals, wrapping paper, Melamine dinnerware and even organic bedding.

I'm loving these Seasons wall sticker dolls. They are made to play with and dress up.  Just so pretty!

Mary McCartney: Photography Genius

I love Mary McCartney's photography. Her work picks up elegant details and emotions. I love that even though the images are immaculately styled and balanced, they draw the viewer in to be part of an intimate moment.

Rachel Loves Bob creates illustrations made using collaged vintage photographs and re-worked vintage images as well as a range of handmade wooden jewellery.  I love these geometric and Art Deco styled necklaces.

Cross Stitch iPhone Case

I admit that I am nearly always on my iPhone, either e-mailing, looking at blogs, taking many photos with several vintage inspired filters, texting, calling, planning out my week, the list goes on and on.  So when I came across this Cross Stitch iPhone Case I thought that it would be a great thing to make for the one piece of technology I use every day.

I know it is meant to be sewn in cross stitch but I decided that it was too thick and bulky so I started over and chose to do a diagonal hemming stitch (I suppose that's what you could call it).  With the case you get given the four colours, so I just started straight away and made the pattern up as went (which you can probably tell).

 

Gorman Nail Polish

I love these Gorman nail polishes!  The colours are fantastic and are great for autumn.  Unfortunately Gorman don’t have names for their nail polish shades so I have been trying to think of some good colour names.  Any ideas?
